After 4 different offers and approvals, we’ve closed on this Nationstar short sale in Woodbridge! Our sellers of this home on Moonbeam Dr in Woodbridge, VA have been through a lot in the last year thanks to a lot of red tape involving First Horizon, FHA negotiators, and buyers dropping out. Details:  This short sale was originally an FHA short sale, which proves tough enough, but offered relocation incentives. The original lender involved in the FHA deal, was First Horizon and every time we would finally get their approval and that of FHA, our buyers would walk just before closing due to long waiting periods. Then, back in July 2011, we finally received our 4th  short sale approval from First Horizon, but they insisted we settle in less than 10 days, which was impossible. Come to find out this demand was made because the loan was being transferred to a new servicer, Nationstar Mortgage. Needless to say, #4 was the charm and we SOLD on Oct 31st.
